Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based in beautiful Flagstaff, Arizona, but I LOVE to travel! For anything further than 30 miles from Flagstaff, there will be a travel fee associated with the booking. Contact me to get a custom quote for your session, if you are outside of the Flagstaff/Sedona area.
How long have you been a photographer?
I have been taking photos since I received a hand-me-down DSLR at the age of 14! The first wedding that I photographed was in 2013, and I have been doing portraits and weddings ever since!
What is your photography "style"?
I enjoy taking both candid and posed photos. My goal is to make you feel as comfortable as possible with having a camera in your face (we aren't all born models, am I right?) and having FUN with photos.
I prefer natural lighting over studio lighting, but will use off-camera lighting if needed.
I always suggest to people I know to look through the photos of photographers they are interested in hiring. Find what "speaks" to you- even if that doesn't mean my style!
How do you photograph weddings?
I am here to help make your wedding as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. I am available for a free "planning session" prior to your wedding day to help you navigate the schedule and timing of your day. I also provide a list of standard family formal groupings for after your ceremony and am here to answer any questions about photos on our wedding day.
My goal on your wedding day is to be as helpful as possible, while assuring that I am not in any type of spotlight during the day (the day is all about you and your partner!). I love taking both candid and posed photos and doing my best to capture your personalities. I like creating a connection with clients and making photos as fun as possible.
When will we get our photos?
For portraits, expect your photos within 2-4 weeks.
For weddings, photos will be delivered within 8-12 weeks of wedding day.
How many pictures will we receive?
For portrait sessions, you will typically receive between 50 to 80 fully edited images.
For 8 hours of coverage for a wedding, you will typically receive between 300 to 500 fully edited images.
I choose photos based on quality, and whether or not it adds to your story.
